Hi gang, this may seem like a wierd one but may as well ask since I'm having trouble finding remixes of Trek stuff...
My improv comedy team is producing a one-off show for an upcoming comic expo in Calgary, Canada (ref: calgaryexpo.com). The show is basically like a hockey match, where "teams" of costumed characters face off to improvise the best interpretation of a scene title provided by a referee, with the audience voting. This time, the theme is "Star Trek" versus "Star Wars", and Kirk, Scotty, Captain Kargan and [Unnamed Sexy Andorian] will be competing against Luke, Slave Leia, Captain Piett and Yoda. Cthulu will ref.
Anyway, since this is an improv show in the guise of a hockey game, I'm looking for appropriate genre music to play during the audience voting segments (where they hold up cards with the Starfleet or Rebel Alliance logos on them). Star Wars stuff is readily available (Imperial March, Duel of the Fates, Cantina Band...) but energetic Trek music just isn't easy to find.
So, I'm looking for remixes of Trek themes (especially 8-bit, techno, etc.) that I can use for the show. If anyone has some thay can share, or point me to a place where I can fit them, please let me know or message.
