HBO recently aired Generations in HD. I recorded it but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

You'll have to let us know how Generations looks. The SE DVD is too sharp resulting in shimmering and jagged edges.

It looks really good. as does Twok (both on the DVR recorded) and thats
from the 1080i masters from years ago.

The movies should look fantastic on Blu-Ray when they come out next year.
Paramount is spending some serious dough on restoration.

I've seen Generation and First Contact in HD and was pretty impressed. The eventual blu-ray (or other 1080p) releases should definitely be interesting... always wished that beauty shot of the Ent-D approaching Amargosa station was longer.
