By the way, Destiny: Book One is now available for pre ordering over at Amazon.

Looks like it's going to be a good year in Trek Lit for me. I only see three books that I'm not planning on getting. One of these is A Burning House, but that I will get once I read the other IKS Gorkon books. I know I don't have to, but I already own Diplomatic Implausability and A Good Day to Die.

Let's see. 2008 in Trek for me will be...

The new movie
Viewing the entirity of Of Gods and Men (hopefully)
Viewing the entirity of TOS Remastered
Excelsior: Forged in Fire
Klingon Empire: A Burning House
Mirror Universe: Shards and Shadows
Terok Nor: Books 1-3
DS9: Fearful Symmetry (finally)
TNG: Greater Than the Sum
Enterprise: Kobabyashi Maru
Destiny: Books 1-3
IDW: New Frontier
IDW: Year Four- The Enterprise Experiment
IDW: Assignment- Earth
IDW: Mirror Images
And continuing my catching up in other series, principally a chronological journey threw TOS fiction, continuing NF, and starting SCE and Stargazer.

Wow, that's pretty much the same as my list, minus NF, TOS, and Stargazer.

Definite:
Terok Nor: Day of the Vipers by James Swallow (April)
Terok Nor: Night of the Wolves by S.D. Perry and Britta Dennison (May)
Terok Nor: Dawn of the Eagles by S.D. Perry and Britta Dennison (June)
Fearful Symmetry by Olivia Woods (July)

Considering:
Enterpise: Kobayashi Maru by Andy Mangels & Michael A. Martin (September)
Corps of Engineers: Wounds by Ilsa J. Bick, et alia (October)
Destiny, Book One: Gods of Night by David Mack (October)
Destiny, Book Two: Mere Mortals by David Mack (November)
Destiny, Book Three: Lost Souls by David Mack (December)

By the way, does anyone know who's editing Destiny?

^ Actually, Marco Palmieri and Margaret Clark are both editing all three volumes of the trilogy, because its impact will be so wide-ranging. In addition, a number of my fellow Trek authors have served as beta-readers and fact-checkers on books one and two, and I expect the same will be true if/when I finish book three in April.

Oh, excellent. That includes the ebooks. My entire freebie "economic stimulus" rebate will probably end up going straight to Pocket. Or eReader.

Wow, that's awesome to read. That makes me even more excited about this trilogy.

David,

My apologies on that because I was told Marco and was told Margret also an hour later but I never came to add her because I fell asleep so my apologies for that half of information.

Here you'll find a list of all 2008 releases.
And the matching 2008 comic list.
Or both in one place here.

Are the COE ebooks confirmed anywhere? With only two books left in Slings and Arrows it seems like the next several ebooks should have been announced already. I'm starting to fear it's the end of the line for the monthly ebook series.

^ I wouldn't hold my breath for an answer. The same question was asked about a month ago in this thread and there was no answer.
