Trek BBS Box Office: We contributed...

Timelord79 (he/him)

Vice Admiral
Admiral
About 25$ until now.

I thought this might be interesting. Every other day another boxoffice thread pops up here.
But I haven't seen one that counts the money the movie made exlusively from us.

Just add the money you spent on the movie to the amount the posters above you already added. Try to post the total amount of this thread to make it easier for the poster after you. Or we will lose track of this box office count really fast. ;-)

I spent about 25$.

If you spent 10$ we are at 30$ and if the next one spent 50 we were already at 80$.

And don't forget to update with future viewings. ;)

so...

25$

1 First Showing Imax $34
1 First Week Matinee $16
1 Second Week Matinee $16

All 2 tickets to each show obviously.

$66 so far.

First showing $8.50 (while on vacation in Sedona, AZ - Harkins cinema - does not include $1.00 fee for booking online at movietickets.com)
Second showing $0 (my wheelchair gets me in free at the Carmike here in Morgantown, WV)
Friend at second showing $8.50

So my grand total so far is $17

I will probably chip in another $4 when/if Trek hits the Warner downtown.

I think there were 8 in my party for a matinee show, so not including Internet surcharges I believe it was $64.

64+66+55+8.50= $193.50 (domestic)

42 Euros (foreign)

10 times x 2 people in IMAX ($12.50) = $250, plus one time regular at $8.50 =

$258.50 -- so far for us.

We are going again tonight.

Somebody will probably cross my post, so I won't grand total.

So $789 + Mr. & Mrs. Guartho = $803

Sorry gang, just one viewing so far for us. We fully intended to see it at least one more time in the theater (and still might) but our schedules are nutso. In fact it's something of a miracle that we managed to see it the first time.

Myself 2 viewings $23
My brother 2 viewings $23

My dad and couple of friends 1 viewing $34.5

So we contributed $80.5 all together.

I would've gone for a 3rd viewing on imax but money seems to be a real issue nowadays with this bad economy. But I'll certainly be one of the first to get JJ Abrams Star Trek on blu-ray.

Holy crap, 10 viewings. The only film I ever saw 7 times in the theater was Batman Begins.

I've seen Star Trek twice. First time I took a buddy of mine:

$12cnd x 2 = $24cnd (Not counting the $30 we spent on food)

Second time, I took my dad (who's a huge TOS fan), my bro (who like TNG like me) and my cousin (who's a Voyager freak).

sooo......$12 x 4 = $48

Grand total = $72

Grand total with food? like $140 lol

$227.50 from me and all the people I've taken to see it.
