Transformers - Rescue Bots

Transformers: Rescue Bots or simply Rescue Bots is a toyline and television series based on toy manufacturer Hasbro's Transformers. Rescue Bots is the successor of Transformers: Robot Heroes, and is based on the same concept as Marvel Super Hero Squad and Hero On-The-Go, Rescue Bots mainly focus on educating children regarding hazards and safety.
The group of Autobots who take part in Rescue Bots are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Chase, Heatwave, Blades, and Boulder.[1]
Relating to other Transformers series/continuities Rescue Bots features human Autobot allies. The Autobot allies consist of Chief Charlie Burns (Chase's partner), Cody Burns, Dani Burns (Blades's partner), Kade Burns (Heatwave's partner), and Graham Burns (Boulder's partner), as well as Doc Greene and Francine Greene as supporting characters.[2]

Apparently; The series will start broadcasting in 2012,[5] with a special sneak peak airing on December 17, 2011.[4]

I will check this out sometime this weekend...but I was unaware of a new series. Transformers Prime S2 is suppose to air in early 2012...the more Transformers series the better I guess.

Anyone check this out this Today?

Yea its a Transformers Series for little kids however I do believe it's supposed to be set in the Transformers Prime Universe.

Yeah, I think i'll give that one a miss. Prime is fantastic though, I think that's one of the best sci-fi shows on TV right now, even though it's essentially for kids. It really reminds me of the G1 show from my childhood.

I've only seen half of the first episode, but I enjoyed it. There's some heavy stuff in the beginning, most of which is implied (that Cybertron is dead, the war is over, the Rescue Bots are the last of their "kind" etc.). While cartoon-y in appearance (heh), the show feels a lot like "What if Eureka had Transformers in it?". I'm looking forward to watching more.
