Transformers 2: teaser Poster, Sideswipe

I dunno. The edges of those evil eyes are easily recognizable as metallic. Not many movies hitting theaters nowadays with big robots and that distinctive angular design aesthetic.

The poster looks very obscure, not really recognizable as anything Transformers. For the casual theater goer it could look like Underworld or any horror film

Two things:
1) Transformers the movie made an impact its highly likely most people would see the face and think Transformers.
2) For those not able to gasp a connection simply based on the slightly obscured image there is always the 'Transformersthemovie.com' tag right below and in plain sight of the tag line "Revenge is Coming".

he's referring to the second image linked which is a shot of the toy Sideswipe from a catalogue or something.

the character on the poster probably is the Fallen.

Exactly.

If it's as lame as the first one I'll pass. Half of a city is destroyed by huge robots, and yet no one talked and the aliens are kept secret? Give me a break. Dozens of people are most likely dead, and no one talked about giant robots?

Unfortunately, a line where this was addressed wound up getting excised from the final movie. I'm not even sure the scene was filmed (but I think it was). At the end, the government explains this as a military experiment gone wrong, so they don't deny the existence of the Transformers at all. And it doesn't matter whether everyone knows about the TFs or not. They can hide.

A few city blocks of destruction does not equal half a city.
True I don't know how some didn't die it wasn't addressed.
We don't know yet that they didn't talk about it or how they will adress it in TF:2. As stated the TF's can hide in plain site regardless of the conversations the masses may have about them.

At the end of the movie Prime goes "We hide here in secret" or something like that. How can they be a secret?

And a lot of that city has damaged by robots running on them.
