But I would've liked a little more details in what that 'confrontation' with 'some men' in the toilet was all about... I mean, the girlfriend of one of those men wanted to hit another one of those men... was she jealous???

Anybody can be floored by an ungloved punch to the mouth, especially if you are not expecting it.

There's nothing particularly spectacular about this lady's "achievement" or embarrassing about the guy getting knocked down. The only lesson to be learned here is not to punch people in the mouth, because you get prosecuted.

You actually are condoning it by laughing at and spreading this shitty story from the Daily Fail that's entirely about mocking the victim of a vicious unprovoked attack from an unrepentant asshole simply because "hehe, he's a big boxer and teehee, she's a little woman." It's sexist garbage, towards all involved.

Here's a more reputable take on the story:

Prosecutor Pam Smith told magistrates at Blackpool there had been a confrontation between some men in the pub toilets.

Little stepped in and stopped the altercation. One of the men was ejected by door staff.

The boxer went to speak to the door staff to tell them they had picked out the wrong man and that he had nothing to do with the dispute.

But before he could get to the door staff he was confronted by 22-year-old Kuzan – the ejected man’s girlfriend. Kuzan screamed at the boxer and struck him in the face.

Today Mr Little, who called the attack “shocking” said Kuzan had yet to apologise.

He added: “I thought I did the right thing helping out.

“If I saw the same thing happen again I would react the same way. I think there is not enough people who help each other in life – I just wanted to help out.

“It was a bit shocking. I understand people can get the wrong end of the stick. To have tried to help someone and get my teeth knocked out I do not find right.

“There’s been no apology. It is a bit easier to take if she says sorry. Sometimes an apology can go a long way. She thought I had beaten up her boyfriend in the toilet. But to show no remorse after finding I helped is disappointing.”

Mr Little said the incident had left a lasting impression on him. He added: “In the local area I train hard and depend on people looking at that.

“The last thing I want is for people to think I behave like that.

“I had to have one of the teeth rebuilt, one taken out and one pushed back into place. I do not understand why she has not had the dignity to say sorry – that is wrong.”

After the attack the boxer received a Facebook message containing a picture of Kuzan, who added the words:”Good luck in your career.”

Little sounds like a decent guy from his actions here who was just trying to have a good time and do the right thing until a bunch of drunken idiots ruined his night and he got turned into a laughing stock by terrible gossipy Rupert Murdoch "news"papers. So I'm wondering why he needed this lesson in "humility" according to you, exactly?

I would actually agree with Locutus on all counts. I wish I had looked for other articles. I guess that's what I get for finding articles in the wee hours of the morning.

And I admitted it was kind of funny. I said at the outset that I don't condone it. I meant it in the same way some one might laugh for a moment. I'm not condoning it nor am I saying for the record that its funny.
