I've always wanted to read a Trek story that is set in the Golden Compass Universe, where a person's soul manifests in animal form. I thought it would be interesting to see what animals would manifest as the souls of Kirk and Spock, and how they would interact with one another. I'm going to attempt to write one, if anyone else is interested, let me know! I would love to see what you come up with!
