TOS style Kelvin props

Here's some picks of the props used on the Kelvin in the new movie, I think they're better than the ones our heroes got stuck with?

Except for that brass thingy sticking out of the back, I could live with this.

The inside obviously wasn't detailed much since we didn't get a closs look at it in the movie.

I think the Kelvin phaser looks a little weak, even without the weird thing on the back. Looks like the Franklin Mint had a field day in the Home Depot.

Communicator's real nice, though.

I like the old communicator and the new phaser. The new communicator looks like Nokia made it.

Guess we know who had the Starfleet contract.
