TOS Photomanip Request

Hi, all...

With all the talk of the casting for the upcoming TOS-era film, I was wondering if someone could do a photomanip of something I've always kind of wanted to see...

I read somewhere once that Jack Lord, of Hawaii Five-O was considered for the role of James T. Kirk, but turned the role down. I have always thought he'd have made an equally great Kirk, and was wondering if we could maybe have a pic of him in a TOS uniform? Any takers are appreciated.

That's actually rather good! You aligned the elements quite well. Interesting, Lord seems to have a nose shaped somewhat similar to Shatner's. I can imagine a fan creating a flashback shot using Lord to play Kirk's father and getting a shot of young Shatner playing, well, young Kirk. (Looks like a job for Warped9 and his series of "TOS scenes that never were".)

Actually the alignment was really easy to do because they seem to have very similar facial structure. When I re-sized the image of Lord's face his eyes, nose and chin really matched up well with Shatner's.

Plus, you'd hear him gushing over each guest star, and how its "the role of a lifetime".

I believe Captain Lloyd Eriksen is Lloyd Bridges, since he looks like Bridges when he did Forbidden Planet.
