TOS Movie Era Novels

This depends on if you are fine with reading the comics on your computer, and also if pricing is a concern (if purchasing the actual comics is too expensive).
You don't have to read them on the computer, you can copy them off the disc and put them on a smart device. I've pulled several comics off of mine and read them on my tablet. The only warning I have is that they are taken from photos of the original comics, so the quality isn't always perfect and it's locked into a double page horizontal spread, so it's best to lock the orientation of your device and spin it around to read some of the pages.

I'm sorry to hear about that library incident, that's terrible!
I quite agree. A library is noplace for snobbery.

And I just today got word (from B&N) about The Higher Frontier. As it happens, it wasn't long ago that I watched the remastered version of TNB/tos (it seemed, at least "on paper," like it might have interesting updates to the SFX), and I'm looking forward to seeing Dr. Jones (and "not seeing" the Medusans) again. Waiting "with a worm on my tongue" ("baited" breath).

B&N says that my copy of The Higher Frontier will be “shipping soon” (I preordered back in late January).

I also found The Higher Frontier, during a bookstore run to snag Kirk Fu. I'm excited by elements from one of the classic episodes that I enjoy that seems to be overlooked and underrated.

Although, a few hours before I started making my way through one of the books I listed for the OP; Deep Domain.

It's been an exciting day for all things Star Trek. While I was at the store, also finally placed an order for the Animated series guide, too.
