TOS actors who would have worked well again

inspired by and a potential companion thread to 'Fill a role with a TOS era actor'

so popular TOS guest actors that you think wouldve worked well again in different roles Mark Lenard/Morgan Woodward etc style ..(if there'd been a season 4):

Sherry Jackson - an orion slave girl for Kirk to save/fall for
Joan Collins - a space princess Ardala type for Kirk to defeat
Julie Newmar - a 1st female captain of a Constitution-class starship/ex flame of Kirk
David Soul - a dashing young Captain Decker type for Kirk/Shatner to compete with
Joanne Linville - a 20th century secretary who helps Kirk defeat The Invaders (ok not the Invaders but a similar hostile alien force in 1970 USA)

Robert Lansing as a Vulcan or a Romulan, say Stonn or Decius. I suppose that also suggests that Lawrence Montaigne could have played Gary Seven!
John Colicos as Matt Decker.
 
Well, how about Lansing for Carter Winston, then? And Montaigne as the Vulcan member of the Elysian council? And I nominate Robert Brown for "Lucien" -- he has the big personality and big voice, and this time he gets a less skanky beard. ;)

Marj Dusay. She caught my eye when I saw her on Hogan's Heroes a couple weeks ago, playing a spy for the Allies. She had an acting range that went far beyond "brain and brain, what is brain" (I didn't even recognize her as the same actor until I looked her up!). She would've worked well as someone intelligent, determined, capable... someone like the Romulan captain in Enterprise Incident, or the leader of an advanced planet, or a female version of Gary Seven... maybe even his boss!

Regarding the Robert April suggestions above, I don't think any of those actors were ever on TOS. So my suggestion for April is James Daly (Flint).

One more actor I'd like to have seen more of is Bruce Mars (Finnegan, and a brief appearance as a cop). I could see him as a Romulan or something (but I don't know about his range, because I never saw him in anything else).

Casting questions are kind of fun, particularly having been a film student... I had to deal with casting decisions on some student film projects at one time.
