Toronto Maple Leafs remain most expensive ticket in NHL

I figure it's like the Yankees... except they don't have to worry about a salary cap so they can buy their way into the post-season. It's no coincidence that the team has tanked since the lockout imposed the salary cap in the NHL.

It's also why they are worried about another team in the GTA. They know all the fans would jump ship if that happened.

For my money, you can't beat the WHL Vancouver Giants. It's about $20 for GREAT seats and the game is fast and furious. And it's kind of fun knowing that all the young 18 year old kids you're watching are going to be future NHL stars. For the money, I just can't justify a Canucks game. I live in the vicinity of several great hockey options:

WHL - Vancouver Giants; Chilliwack Bruins
AHL - Abbotsford Heat (Calgary Flames' farm team)
NHL - Vancouver Canucks
BCHL - Langley Chiefs

Having said that, I get to go see the Canucks vs. Rangers in a suite through work on Tuesday

^ Agreed, I absolutely love going to Giants games. Always a fun time, the hockey is very competitive and there's fights galore.

*IF I lived over there I could not justify pulling for Calgary's farm team being a Canuck fan, it would feel like rooting for the enemy.
But I wish we could get a WHL team back in Victoria, those old Victoria vs New West games were the best at the old barn on Blanchard St.
