Top Ten Episodes

Episodes - Lostpedia

Go on, pick your top 10 so far.

In presentation order for me:
  • Walkabout
  • Deus Ex Machina
  • One of them *
  • Maternity Leave *
  • The Whole Truth *
  • Lockdown *
  • Live Together, Die Alone
  • Flashes Before Your Eyes
  • The Constant
  • The Shape of Things to Come
* Henry Gale arc

If you can tell, I'm a huge Desmond fan.

In no order...

1) Walkabout
2) Deus Ex Machina
3) Live Together, Die Alone
4) The Man Behind the Curtain
5) The Constant
6) Cabin Fever
7) There's No Place Like Home
8) Meet Kevin Johnson
9) The Man From Tallahassee
10) The Brig

I'll try to put them in order...and lumping parts I-II or -III into the same episode for simplicity's sake.

1) Flashes Before Your Eyes
2) Pilot
3) There's No Place Like Home
4) The Constant
5) Through the Looking Glass
6) The Man Behind the Curtain
7) The Other 48 Days
8) Confirmed Dead
9) The Man from Talahassee
10) Tricia Tanaka is Dead

I guess this means I love spectacular first and last season episodes; anything with Desmond doin' the time-travel mambo (and the first one will always get the credit for introducing the concept); Bencentric and Sawyercentric episodes; the Tailies, RIP; and the Boaties, hopefully not RIP too soon...

And the last one was just too much fun to resist puttin' on there - for me, Tricia Tanaka is Dead is the episode that sums up the essence of Lost, the way In the Cards did for DS9.

Geeze, Walkabout has been pushed right off my Top Ten list!

1. Live Together Die Alone: the perfect finale, the perfect episode, the long awaited truth of Desmond--and the Swan
2. The Man Behind the Curtain: the shocking past of Ben, huge revelations, seeing Dharma first-hand, Ageless Alpert, the introduction of Jacob, the then-shocking "death" of Locke
3. The Shape of Things to Come: major revelations, action, Cerebus, Ben focus, shocking deaths
4. Through the Looking Glass: an epic and rousing finale with a truly touching and noble sacrifice; unfortunately the fake-out flash-forward wastes far too much time.
5. 23rd Psalm: the truth of Eko is a beautiful tragedy, plus Cerebus and the drug plane explained!

After that I couldn't really put them in order:
No Place Like Home, Cabin Fever, Constant, // Brig, One of Us, Man From Tallahassee, Enter 77, Flashes Your Eyes, Not in Portland, Cost Living, // Three Minutes, ?,
Other 48 Days, Orientation, // Deux Ex Machina, Numbers, Solitary, Walkabout, Pilot
