Tonight's Mysthbusters -- neat thing

So, Jamie is sitting inside the top of an 18 foot Telsa coil, firing water at a dumming, so the electricity goes down with it. And you know the results looked like? Amazingly similar to the streams from "Ghostbusters"!

For the first few feat the water glowed red like in the film, and has lightening bolts coming off it (though much longer).

Yup, it's a rerun. I got all excited thinking there was a new episode coming...

When is a new episode coming on? They don't keep normal seasons: they'll show two or three new episodes and then 10 reruns, then another couple of new episodes, then another 10 reruns. Has the show been canceled?

^^Ohh, I'm sure they'll keep churning out new episodes as long as the audience is there. It's one of Discovery's top shows, with a massive pop-culture presence; they're surely in no hurry to get rid of it.

According to Wikipedia, the 7th-season premiere is scheduled for February 4th. The description for the premiere is "The MythBusters Return for their 7th Season with a big surprise." However, Discovery's online schedule says the 9 PM episode on 2/4 will be "Ninja Myths 2," which is a rerun. Maybe the premiere is airing at 10?

And what could the big surprise be? Jamie wears a different-colored shirt?

They're saving the shirt for the extra-special 200th episode.
