Well I had called twice and they assured me they both times they were going to send out emails to a workable link to fix the credit issue. The first one they sent out led to no where. I told them this and then same person twice told me they where aware of the problems and were getting it sorted out. I even recieved an email in this
I was sent this email today which would be day 5. I had called again today and they close early on Friday. Not sure how to take this..

Subject: TOMY Prestige Select Campaign Currently Being Finalized
    Hello

Please note that campaign called 32 Inch Star Trek Enterprise – Die Cast Metal Replica is currently being processed and finalized.

Please note that if you received a failed contribution email notice and wanted to re-try your credit card, you will not be able to do this at this time.
    Thank you.

Not sure if it means it's too late to try or if they are still working on the problem. There was no way to use the website since everything in my account was deleted on their end when it concerns my contributions.

They sent a late follow up and basically said sorry for the confusing email. Lol. Said my order will still be honored. So looks like I am still on the list.

I wanted to get one of these but they don’t ship to the UK. A bit of a oversight on their side

I found it odd that they would not ship international. Tomy is a Japanese company but I'm not sure if it's just Tomy US doing this. Too bad you could not get someone to ship it out. I'm guessing since they offered Free shipping and tax was included in the price they didnt want to have to shop these things out for free across the world. Maybe they should have just said free shipping US and still did international with a shipping charge. But than we probably would have heard a whole bunch of complaints over that.

Doubtful it will be limited to backers only, crowdfunding is a risk-free way to raise money to cover start-up costs for a project - presumably it will be released worldwide down the road

I think this one so far? Needed more backers or something to begin with didn't it?

Mad that they are going to destroy the moulds.

Right they changed during the campaign to get it to succeed. They ended up getting 2953 or so orders on it so more than the 2000 they reduced it to. That included people buying two or three. I bet they will have 3000 made though.
Anyhow I thought pub was implying they changed their minds on other stuff they had made in the past.

    For what it's worth...

Tomy sent out a survey regarding follow up releases to the original 1701, it asked the following:

Rank these four ships in order of interest
    TOS Klingon D7
    TMP 1701 refit
    TNG 1701-D
    SNW 1701

    What is your preferred scale?
    32 inches - $599
    24 inches - $499
    16 inches - $299

As for scale, I usually go by whatever is cheapest. Though 16 inches is quite small.
