Tom Petty... gone at age 66

A major bummer, a rock-n-roll legend taken from us prematurely. Tom Petty has died at the moderate age of 66. So terrible to learn of this. Tom was responsible for creating some of the best music of modern rock-n-roll. He wasn't the best singer or guitarist, but he was a stellar lyricist and composer. Most of all, he attracted so much legendary musical talent that joined him in creating fantastic sound.

[BTW, this topic isn't meant to be a duplicate -- there is an RIP Tom Petty topic going on in the Neutral Zone, but I didn't see one at all in the rest of the forums]

RIP, Tom. You wacky, zany, talented man you.

Well, this was a shocker. Tom Petty was a highlight of the 80s music scene, and 66 is way too young to die.
