TNG to VOY era ships w/o saucer & stardrive design

Any in here ever design any starships from the TNG to VOY era without the familiar saucer and stardrive design? Anything like the Defiant but on the crusier level? I don't like the saucer and stardrive design so I'm curious to see what others have come up with. Thanks!

I came up with a design about 15 years ago that I called K'Verlin:

It was meant to be a heavy cruiser replacement for the Ambassador class; it was supposedly designed by a joint Federation/Klingon team. It head the texture of the Galaxy class and some of Galaxy's lines, but the shape was a Klingon hammerhead design.

I don't know if I have any of my original drawings anymore, but Mike Alexander of Solaris Designs borrowed my idea and did some really outstanding derivatives with it.

Steamrunner and Saber come to mind. The Akira doesn't really have a secondary hull either.

Contact Bravofleet, they've got some of the most extensive libraries of material on this subject. Refits & retrofits of every kind, everything ever drawn up by Jim Martin to John Eaves and Warthog. Most of the Trek gaming community contributions are there & links to others. I came up with one for a fan-fic I wrote in high school and later fashioned out of LEGOs. I'll see if I can scrounge up the designs I scribbled down during geometry class that year...

There's also the Challenger class ship designed for BOBW, which is mainly a saucer with two engines.

As much as I don't like non-traditional Starfleet design, I must say... this design kicks butt! Very nice.

I suppose my take on the Deneva-Class counts, though it's only five or so decks high.
Others at the ASDB did some transport type designs that were for the most part not the classic jefferies configuration, so you might want to check those out.

So, in a sense you basically hate nearly every ship throughout trek history.

The Dauntless (except that it turned out to be a fake) and the Relativity (Wells class) seem to fit the OP description.
