Here we go. Tag spoilers for the first month or so, as usual.

    Whee!

Although I could get it from the book depository people and make sure I get it, I'm in London for a few days next month and plan on swinging by Forbidden Planet on the off chance that they have it. Maybe even get Paths of Dishamony at the same time so I can read up on the latest going's on on-board the E-E even though I'm sure I don't really need to.

Oh and since when couldn't spoilers be posted in a review thread, they kind of go hand in hand and if people complain about being spoiled, tuff titties to them.

B&N took down the release date, so it must be coming out to the stores either tomorrow. Or friday. Can't wait.

can I read this one out of order, or should I wait till I've caught up? Right now, I've only read as far as "death in winter".

IFM is pretty standalone. As long as you're familiar with TNG, the series and the movies, you should be fine.

I noticed that Amazon has it listed as "in stock". Unfortunately, my local Borders didn't have it when I dropped by today. Can't decide if I should just order on Amazon or wait a few more days and swing by the store again.

I feel your pain, I've finally given up on Borders (as well as B&N) & have ordered my last three Trek novels from amazon. Mine just shipped today, I can't wait.

Since the thread title doesn't have "SPOILERS" in it.

Personally, I don't care about spoilers, most of the times, considering I need to read these threads before I get my book. However, some people might just be in the review thread to see whether they should buy the book or not, they might not want to be spoiled about certain details.

You could always start a thread with for spoilers.

    I think I won't do that.

Thie thing is though, it's a review thread, reviews including spoilers, whether large or small and if someone complains about spoilers in a review is very pretty silly indeed.

Going to Barnes and Noble today and see if they have it in stock. Wife has abducted the Kindle and won't give it back.

Success. Another nine bucks swallowed by my Star Trek addiction. :techman:
