Titanic... the animated musical?!

That rapping dog is the best. He made it onto one of the Nostalgia Critic's countdown lists at some point in the past. Totally worth it.

Wow, it's like someone fed Titanic, Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, An American Tail, and some miscellaneous animated stuff into a blender, minus all the good parts.

Yeah that's a funny NC. Rapping dog on the Titanic. Who would've thought something like that would ever happen?

God, that movie looks like it's just made of fail and terriblness.

Who the fuck dreamed it up? I also love the "happy ending" recap. And the shameless ripping off of the Cameron version of the movie.

I love the scene of the engine workers trying to "bail out the ship" by just throwing the water by bucketfulls right back onto the water already flooding the ship!

Someone in the forums mentioned that they may have been dousing the boilers in that scene, which makes sense to prevent boiler explosions from the freezing sea water, but the movie still FAILs since it's completely unclear what's going on, just like the rest of the movie.

One thing the NC review failed to mention was the film copying whole shots from Cameron's version, most noticeably the view of the stern falling into the water after the ship breaks in two. Classy move there, fellas.

^odd, it didnt work for me earlier today...it is working now.

yeah funny thing is that I saw it without my speakers on, so i didnt actually hear the rapping, but the crap animaton was enough to give me nausea...

I liked how the dog's voice changed between his "talking" and then the rap (though you wouldn't know this without sound) and that his "dancing" was able to defy prespective and was done like his body was made out of jello.

TGWTG.com was having technical trouble again. It happens from time to time, that's why the link wasn't working. Just go to youtube and search for "nostalgia critic titanic" if it happens again, it's on there. There are longer clips from the movie there too...he just covered the tip of the iceberg...no pun intended...

What's keeping that iceberg anyway? Oh there it is!

I must say, though, the lead girl was well drawn. If a bit anachronistic.

But my God was the lead guy bland. And the Mexican rats? Seriously? Who thought THAT would be a good idea?!
