Well, it's not like he's doing network TV. A show on FX is, what, 13 episodes a season? Plus while he will never go hungry waiting for movie scripts to come his way, his selection does seem to be less than the best.
I didn't think he'd necessarily return to "mere" TV after doing several movies, but I'm glad to see I was wrong. I really prefer seeing actors I like, who have the ability to really develop their characters over time, on TV, particularly one with strong writing like Damages.
