"Time Squared": Pulaski's curious culinary preference

You're right about the monitor in the shuttlebay. Maybe that's why O'Brien mysteriously went in there when we hadn't seen him for the entire episode, or maybe he was alerted when the bay doors were opened. He might have gotten an alert and went to check on it. But, I guess no one on the Bridge knew about it. They usually get an alert when the bay doors are opened.
I think that's right. The opening bay triggered a warning & O'Brien entered in response. The bridge could've known too, but no one was able to show up as quickly

I doubt it'd be tough to differentiate Picards at that point. The foreign one was intent on leaving, & it's likely to have been recorded inside the shuttlebay. I bet it was weird for the computer locator though, given both had the same signature & com signal. They might've even been monitoring things via the coms too... maybe, even though that's never said

Ugh. Just eggs or eggs and (ugh) cheese is not sufficient as a meal.
Sounds like eggs aren't your thing, but nutritionally, eggs are great and totally sufficient for a meal. But Riker's eggs sucked. :rommie: He blames the eggs, but the leavings on his non-stick pan tell me the flame was too high. He shoulda let the replicator do the job. Besides, we don't know if he had more planned, Picard ruined it. Also, nobody took advantage of the condiments on the table. They might have helped.

Besides, even though Pulaski mentions omelets, we all know that one misstep turns an omelet into scrambled eggs. ;)

And it's kind of weird that he was able to feed everyone with what looks like a mere two eggs. Those Owan Eggs must expand on cooking. Without adding anything like milk or cream, they got nice and fluffy. The bowl has at least four eggs in it.

I loved those weirdo second season non-sequitur scenes.

I've had shopping days where I woke up to nothing in the house but 3 eggs & a little seasoning & cheese, & dude, that big ol' omelet served perfectly fine as a meal. It's admittedly not the most nutritious meal, but I wasn't hungry anymore & it was gooood

Eggs are highly nutritious, keep in mind that the entire point of an egg is to feed the baby until it hatches. Cheese is pretty nutritious too, so it was actually a pretty good meal.

It's still not THE MOST nutritious lol. I usually like some fruit & fiber with the protein too. Besides, those eggs that we eat are thankfully not quite the same as the ones those chicks mature in. Those ones look more like the Tespar egg they fed Picard in the Cardassian torture cell :guffaw:

Dude... Riker's a bit dim. HTF you just assuming some wacky extraterrestrial eggs are gonna fry up fine? Not even all the eggs on HIS planet are comparable. Even unfertilized turtle eggs are apparently gamier & seagull eggs are rumored to be bloody awful

Well, Pulaski can't tell the difference between an omelette and scrambled eggs either.

That might be easier to forgive though. We don't even know that she's a human native to Earth. She brought weird alien booze to the meal. She gets on better with the bloody Klingon than any of the others. Some of this could be foreign to her

Ummm...

...

...well, I think we all learned something today.

Well, as I said, he may have easily announced and intended to make omelettes but f'ked it up and boom, everyone gets scrambled. :rommie: Riker had just started when she said that.

After that he intended to play trombone
