I could swear I remember seeing Four and the TOS crew in some sort of small b&w comic back in the day. Mayb emy memory is fuzzier than I thought.

I seem to recall a 4th Doctor/TOS comic from back in the 80's.

It wasn't a comic. It was a novella called "The Doctor and The Enterprise. Although it did have illustrations that ran throughout the story.

What you're likely remembering is The Doctor and the Enterprise. It was a fanfic from the 1980s that was circulated for a time through comic book shops, and it had a comic book-style cover.
