You guys have no idea how hard I'm restraining myself from posting pony threadbombs. This is just crying out for a Rainbow Dash to celebrate its epicness.

Ah, yes, that makes much more sense now. Thanks.

Mmmm...I don't know, a mention of characters in passing here and there, and maybe a crossover or two in alternative media, but, for the TV Program, I'm not real hot on litereally mixing Universes.

I can imagine the Doctor's stern lecturing of the bridge crew of whatever Trek ship he appeared on now...

"You call yourselves pacifists, peaceful explorers you say, yet you take phasers with you on away missions! All I have is a screwdriver! That's true peaceful exploring, my friends!"

Not to mention if he ever rocked up to Voyager's sickbay then they could have TWO people called "The Doctor" with no discernible other name!
(maybe he could also bring Arnold Rimmer with him and he and the EMH could have an argument about hard light holograms too :-p )

I remember a spoof TNG/DW comic, a one-shot deal called "Doctor Whom Meets Star Wreck".

At one point, someone threw a grenade and "9-K" went to fetch it & got blown up. Something also happened to Data and they ended up building a "Data-9" out of the parts.

That's about all I remember.

I could swear I remember seeing Four and the TOS crew in some sort of small b&w comic back in the day. Mayb emy memory is fuzzier than I thought.

What you're likely remembering is The Doctor and the Enterprise. It was a fanfic from the 1980s that was circulated for a time through comic book shops, and it had a comic book-style cover. The red cover one with Spock and the Fourth Doctor still turns up from time to time in back issue racks - I often see it included with graphic novels or those Van Hise "Files" magazines that were a dime a dozen back in the day (I miss those). It was later professionally published with (almost) all references to character names and copyrighted concepts removed.

I have a copy of the last version (which was actually available in regular bookstores). It wasn't bad - the author, Jean Airey, went on to co-write the non-fiction book Travel Without a TARDIS for Target Books.

PS. Anyone interested in exploring Doctor Who merchandising like books, CDs and the like should be prepared to lose many hours in that Timelash site - it's incredible.
