News Tim Conway passed away at the age of 85.

Bummer. Few things were as funny as Tim Conway and Harvey Korman together in a skit on the Carol Burnett Show, and Conway inevitably getting Korman to break-up:

My earliest memories of Tim Conway came from reruns of McHale's Navy. Even on a comedy with many other funny actors, Tim stood out. Some of the best bits were exchanges between Ensign Parker (Conway's character) and Captain Binghamton (Joe Flynn). The Carol Burnett Show showcased even more of his brilliant lunacy. You will be missed, sir.

Apparently, when The Carol Burnett Show was in production, the first thing Tim would do (when the actors all received their scripts) would be to go off in a corner and basically re-write all his lines from scratch. The rest of the cast had absolutely no idea what he was going to say!
