I saw the pilot of this the other day, and I was impressed. Some other thoughts are:
- Lion-O is a prick compared to the 80s Lion-O. He is far more gruff and arrogant.
- I'm glad Snarf doesn't talk in this one. In the 80s version, he was a negative nelly who deserved a slap for being such a downer.
- Mumm-Ra reminds me a lot of the 80s version, as does Slithe.
