Thumbs Up! Star Trek Museum in Second Life

i visited the star trek museum in second life a few days back and was amazed at the level of detail and work that the owner had lavished upon it.

i decided other people should learn about this and perhaps visit the place.

for those people who don't know about secondlife.com, it's an amazing virtual world that basically mirrors our own world, with places to go shopping, dining, etc. people even have homes over there, and everyone goes around in virtual avatars.

it's free to go there and explore....

i found out there was a star trek museum and decided to visit...

i only visited the cultural museum and part of the enterprise, but there's an extensive start trek science museum there as well.

I clicked all the links. Just straightforward, harmless, "Gee, lookie what I found!" type stuff. Just by coincidence, I discovered Second Life a week ago and I've been exploring. It's really amazing some of the things people have managed to put together in there. But there's nothing really to do there unless you're part of a group I guess, so I probably won't be cancelling my World of Warcraft subscription anytime soon...
