Now for a debate between Lord Garth and Lord Garth.

At some point Discovery is abandoned and is waiting 1,000 years for something and can't leave where it is under any circumstances, as per "Calypso".

Okay, that's true...

I take that to mean it's somewhere that Control can't detect and if it leaves, then there's a risk it will be.

Seems like Control will be a non-issue. Unless Tyler screws something up in the "past".

Gabriel Burnham is on Terralysium. Burnham & Crew want to go to Terralysium at least 950 years in the future. I think Burnham ends up there.

Could be. But we don't see that in the episode itself and we won't find out until next season.

I also think, for some reason, they can't bring Discovery into the future with them, so they have to transport themselves into the future and Discovery has to remain in that same spot, so they have somewhere to return to when they reappear in the future, or they all die in space.

That's not what happens. Discovery seems to go to wherever/whenever it's going. Who knows where it actually ends up, but at the very least, the ship makes it through.

That's my guess. They go to Discovery (which has been waiting there for 1,000 years), then they go to Terralysium.
