thoughts on alice eve returning as carol marcus

Just wondering people's thoughts on whether or not you believe that Alice Eve will return as Carol Marcus. I can't recall reading if she was signed on for INTD and then contingency for third movie.

Do you think they will do a Kirk/Marcus pairing or leave it be and let Kirk go on being a tom cat?

I found her pretty 'meh', so not all that fussed if she makes a return or not.

Which is why it's her job to take as much screen time from McCoy as possible.

She was a lot less annoying than Uhura in the movie, but aside from her connection with her father there's no real point to the character. I doubt we'll be seeing her again as it'd be redundant.

Unless her connection Marcus is a plot point again, I don't see how it would be redundant. The next step for her character would be building a connection with Kirk. Not sure if having characters continue from film to film is redundant. Are Q and M redundant because they appear in multiple Bond films?

AGREE. I think AE has potential as an actress. And nuKirk could use a serious relationship in the midst of his next crisis to help him GROW UP.

What are they supposed to do? Replace all secondary characters with each new film? Kill out all Starfleet captains, admirals, redshirts and secondary bridge crew, so that only the main cast remain?
