Thoughts from Q-Less

Even though this was the typical gotta-a-prob-and-solve-it-in-an-hour-before-the-station/ship-blows-up episodes, it was still enjoyable

3 parts of the show made it good.

1-"Benji" I :guffaw: every time Q says that

2-Punch to the lip of Q

3-Punch to the solar plexus of Q and then the "Picard never hit me" line

On a side note, Sisko may have taken a behind the hand shot at Picard

Sisko meets Vash and seems to like her then talks to Chief and he informs her that Picard and Vash were "close, if you know what I mean"

Sisko says she didn't seem like his type....heh heh... not stuffy or high brow.

Pretty good episode in retrospect.

Personally I enjoyed it when Q gets blamed for the problems and says it's his fate to be the galaxies whipping boy

I really want to hate all Q episodes, but I can't. He is just so hilarious, especially talking about the "dreary outpost" And asking Sisko did he volunteer for this outpost.

Q's humour is the only thing that made this episode bearable. My favourite is:
Vash: "What was it they called you [on Brax]? The God of Lies?"
Q: "They meant it affectionately."

The best line in the whole episode:

Q: (grunts) Picard and his lackeys would have solved this hours ago!

Better-- He actually said: "Picard and his lackeys would have solved all of this technobabble hours ago.":lol::lol:

I like this episode. If Q had popped up on DS9 every year, I might not think so fondly of it. But, since this is our only DS9-Q episode it holds a soft spot in my heart.
