Epcot is definately my favorite! Just take a look at my avatar to get an idea of one of my favorites there. My all time favorite attraction that is sadly now extinct is Horizons. Anyone who's been on it knows why. If you haven't, Google it on images. It's worth a look.

I've been on it, multiple times since we moved to Florida in 1991. It was easily one of my favorites and the family in Horizons may just have a guest appearance on my fanfic Star Trek: Voyager - Dark Realm (it's linked in my signature).

Google Spaceship Earth too to get recordings of the older incarnations of Spaceship Earth if you are so inclined.

I love Epcot, too. I haven't been back in YEARS, but I'm dying to go. But a trip to Disneyworld is a big expense and my hubby is a real tightwad. There was so much to do, so many rides/shows and wonderful places to eat!

I was a big fan of the UK pavillion, followed by the Germany and Japan pavillions for some great quality eating. The Morocco pavillion had some great Middle Eastern food.

Oh. Here are some additions to favorite ride list:

1) Soarin (EPCOT)
2) Test Track (EPCOT) - Though I've had friends say my driving reminds them of Test Track.
3) The Maelstrom (EPCOT) - In the Norway pavillion

I hate to break it to the Floridians, but hands down the best amusement park is Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. In September of 2008 Cedar Point was named "Best Amusement Park in the World" by Amusement Today's annual Golden Ticket Awards for the 11th consecutive year.

Wow! I didn't know that I was only speaking from my own personal experience and thought the world of it. It was the only park I got lost in as a child (thanks to my brother and cousin) and spent what I thought was an eternity in the child lost and found center - scarred for life. I also remember my earliest form of anxiety was riding across that bridge over Sandusky Bay in a rain storm entering the park. Summertime is tornado season so it was like Florida where you have these flash storms that come and go quickly. I still have nightmares about that bridge over to Cedar Point.

I have been to many parks in many states including ALL the parks in Florida, the Busch Gardens in both FL and VA. Many different Six Flags. Hershey in PA. One in up state NY near Buffalo/Canada border. Disney and Universal in both FL and CA. Sea Worlds in FL and CA. Wonderland in Toronto. I'm not coming down on FL but I make my favorite statement through a wide range of experience in parks. You can feel the difference in FL where the park is tied to a conglomerate enterprise and safety is first then thrill. I didn't always feel safe on rides at other parks and that made it more interesting. Cedar Point only operates six months out of the year due to the winter and they are still top notch especially in thrill rides. OK enough of my soapbox I'm getting home sick.

Cedar Point also manages the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas.

For any EPCOT fans out there, I highly recommend this website: Intercot.com.

Also I'd recommend Themepark Insider.com for details about favorite rides or attractions...

Thanks for the reminder, Dingo. It's been a long time since I looked at Intercot. For a MASSIVE Disneyworld fan (Epcot being my favorite), it's been a good source when I need a Disneyworld fix.

There's also a Disney BBS. I found it when I googled Disney forums.

BTW as an EPCOT fan have you ever heard the band Mo'Rockin at the Morrocco Pavillion. They blend traditional North African music with a modern beat that sounds pretty cool and is actually one way I intend to teach myself Arabic...
