Ok, I'm pretty sure this wasn't already posted, so here we go;

The critically acclaimed US drama The Wire will be shown on BBC2

It will be the first time the show has aired on terrestrial television in the UK.

The entire five seasons will be shown, the broadcaster has confirmed, with an episode every night.

I caught the first season when we had Virginmedia, so I know to expect much from the rest of the series. But one episode a night? A bit much for a so show densely plotted.
