The Wars v. Trek v. Law and Order marathon?

Here in the US on cable TV there was quite a sci-fi war going on between cable channels over the memorial weekend and of course Law and Order.

On Spike TV was the Star Wars Marathon and on Sci-Fi was the Trek Marathon - all 11 movies IIRC. And on A & E was the Law and Order marathon.

If you caught any TV did you catch one or the other - difficult choice?

For me I re watched Trek VI and a glimpse of Nemesis until I was reminded how horrible it was. No Wars but I did catch late yesterday the tail end of the Law and Order marathon.

It was no choice at all for me. I have every Star Trek episode and movie and DVD, ditto for the various Star Wars stuff, and can watch them at my leisure (which ironically, is not nearly as much as I wanted to when I didn't have the choice), so I never bother with the TV broadcasts, and I'm not a Law and Order fan, so I don't watch that either.

It is absolutely impossible to miss any of that stuff on TV - every single one of those things comes on all the time. Shoot, as best I can determine, there is always at least one L&O rerun airing on some cable channel in the US 24/7/365. I don't even LIKE the show very much but I've seen about all of them, just from running on the treadmill in my basement. I never turn on anything I care about and would have to concentrate on while running...so I have seen about every L&O episode there is.
