Here are the top twenty episodes for TNG according to your voting over the past month or so. I am certain this list doesn’t match your list of top twenty; it most certainly doesn’t match my list. But here it is as the forum voted (Star Trek democracy in action). Feel free to discuss and let everyone know how your list of top twenty episodes is better. Nicely, of course. :p

The list is in order of how the voting turns out in each round, placing the winners in that round on top. Not necessarily which episode got the most votes over all. All Good Things was kicking butt all the way through the voting until the final round, which it came in last out of three episodes. Go figure.

Best of Both Worlds, Pt. 1
    Yesterday's Enterprise
    All Good Things
    The Inner Light
    The Measure of a Man
    Tapestry
    Darmok
Best of Both Worlds, Pt. 2
    Cause and Effect
    Q-Who?
    The Drumhead
    Chain of Command, Pt. 2
    Family
    The Offspring
    Sarek
    Parallels
    Lower Decks
    The Defector
    Pegasus
    Conspriacy

Nice to see Family and The Defector in there. Two of my all time favorites.

I didn't take part in the voting, but I have to say you folks did a good job! They should just take these eps and make The Trekk BBS REcommends dvd package out of 'em. A really nice desert island disc selection.

Looks a nice list. Nothing I'd ditch from that.

I enjoy Lower Decks about as much as a root canal. That's one of those episodes I never understood why it was so popular.

Q-Who is important because it introduces the Borg to the show, but as an episode by itself, I don't think it cracks my Top 20.

I'll try and think of the 2 I'd sub in for those.

It's a pretty good list, and I agree with 19 of them. "Darmok" is okay, but I can't see it as top 20 material.

No real complaints about that selection - maybe one or two I'd swap ('Data's Day' & 'The Mind's Eye' for 'Darmok' and 'The Defector'), but that's about it...

Good list, even though All Good Things should have at least been second.

Great list. Not a dud on there, and a really good group to show someone who has never seen an episode of TNG before.

A good Top 20 we have there!

And thanks to Spider for doing the poll over the last few weeks. Cheers! :)

I could stand to watch all of those episodes. I've never been particularly fond of Family myself, but that would probably be the only one I'd replace with something else.

Thanks again for running this Spider. It's been fun.

I would like to see the elimination polls in the other Trek series forums, and then run the top twenty of each series against each other in one giant poll. Then we would get down to the nitty gritty of the top twenty TV episodes of all of Star Trek TV.

I would do either of TOS or ENT (since they are smaller :p ) if we could get three other volunteers to do the other three series.

I know TNG in and out, and DS9 pretty well.

I watched ENT pretty regularly until grad school wiped out the second half of S4 for me. I could get that one going if you like?

I don't know TOS or VOY very well.

Smoothie, if you could do ENT, I would do TOS. Then all we would actually need is for someone to do VOY.

OK - I will start that today. I'll follow your TNG format if you don't mind me plagiarizing.

Yeah I'd participate in a Voyager one for sure. I know TNG and VOY best

I'd replace "Lower Decks" with "Who Watches the Watchers?".

Which, by the way, has a good (unreleased) score by Ron Jones.
