"The Vengeance of Khan" poster

I used to have a french version of the poster for STIV that was similar to the first one indicated, but had Kirk and Spock standing on either side looking up.

Similar to the original "Revenge Of The Jedi" posters that were out before they change it to "Return Of The Jedi".

Original ones can be worth quite a bit.

Wonder if any of these 'Vengeance' posters were in circulation like the Revenge Jedi ones?

I had this poster (with all the wording on it) hanging above my bed for years when I was growing up:

That top TWoK poster with Khan in his dust storm mask is amazing. I can see why they wouldn't choose that one, but it's the best artistically, IMO.

That TVH one was actually used, wasn't it? I'm positive I have a copy rolled up somewhere.

Back in the early 90s I had the 6 main movie posters (27x40) on the wall next to each other. The wall had just enough space for the 6. Getting VI was abit of a struggle at first in UK. When VI came out Dec 13 1991 expected to be able to get the 27x40 movie one sheet of the main movie poster (not the teaser) to go with the other 5. Wasn't in the comic store unlike the official VI stuff that was released on the day of the movie came out in US (starlog movie magazine, DC comic, PB novel). Think I was concerned wouldn't be able to get it to complete the wall. was told id have to send off to main store in London. Did that and it arrived and to my extreme disappointment it was the horizontal style quad of the teaser poster, so sent off again saying wanted the 27x40 movie one sheet (not the teaser one) and received the main movie poster but quad again. After many phone calls, letters etc finally got the one I wanted but think it was pretty expensive (as was all the hassle with the previous ones. Can't remember now if I sent them back or not. Will have to look if still got them rolled up somewhere with the others). Then a couple months later saw it for standard price in the comic store when the movie was released in UK (Feb 92). Seem to remember spending alot of time doing stuff like that pre internet:rolleyes:
