The women of the "Unit" are asked to leave the base when danger looms for them, while the men are away trying to find out who wants to assassinate the President and Vice President.

Anyone still watching this show? Moving it from it's succssful post-NCIS Tuesday time slot to the Sunday slot where they seemingly killed Shark on purpose doesn't seem to bode well.

It does seem to be an odd time slot. Time will tell.

It'll be interesting to see how long this story line plays out.

I can't see how the Unit would be a possible risk unless they were regularly part of a security detail.

Yeah, it's a really stupid move... what are they airing after NCIS now?
Hopefully they give them a chance to actually end the show because I have a feeling they're going to go for a cliffhanger midseason.

Anyway, pretty stunning intro to the show... basically a game changer... AND they get rid of the young kids for a while.
But the main thread, the whole huge ass assassination plot... it definitely makes me want to see where they go with the show. And even though the thing with Mac and Ryan is on the backburner, it'd be nice to see a resolution to that as well.

Over the last couple of season's, I'd kind of felt this show had lost it's way and I was really losing interest fast. But I decided to tune in last night and give it another chance. The show last night definitely got me re-energized and liking this show again (although I could do without the soap opera stuff with Col Ryan and whatsherface).

But like others here, I fear the Sunday night slot will kill it.

I think killing Hector off last year was pretty damn ballsy, especially since it was a pointless death. At the very least you know that probably everyone has a chance of dying on the show.

But yeah, this new arc... they can still do missions of the week, but having this larger story as opposed to just generic "terrorism"? Good call.

It drops in ratings each season, seaon 1 was its highest rated season. My mom loves this show and Sunday is nota great slot to be in....and being 10:00 thats a death card.
last nights episode was really good.

the ep was really good, but i stumbled into it

CBS should do a better job of promoting it!

Awesome ep, what a great way to start a season. And I gotta say I really like Red Cap. :D

She's going to turn out to be one of the bad guys, I guarantee it. The foreshadowing about how there's no true identity, only your cover identity implies to me that she went over to the other side while she was undercover for a long period of time.

Everything she went through with the Team in Yemen and in Colorado was just a set-up to get her on the inside, and now she's solely responsible for the protection of the wives, which she will no doubt hold over the Team's head at some point. The bad National Guard guy trying to kill her probably had no idea who she was since they're most likely just individual cells operating without knowledge of other cell's activities.

It's the kind of vast, amazingly well-planned and executed conspiracy that could only work in TV shows and movies, but I think that's what's going on.

It's good to see David Aceveda's political aspirations really taking off. ;)

This was definitely one of the better episodes they've done. Good excitement level throughout, and it has the makings of an interesting plot arc.

Soooo, it's a non-comedic version of 'Psych' then?

^ Your theory about her being one of the bad guys is definitely very plausible. Honestly, I don't really care either way. She just seemed to bring a bit of a freshness to the show which is always welcome.

Oh yeah, she does. Sorry, I wasn't disagreeing with you, just throwing out my pet theory. ;)
