The Ultimate SCI FI Ass Kicker Thread - Round 1

YOUR TOP 5 for this one.

Over the years we have been treated to many SCI FI characters both male and female who have the ability to kick some serious ass but who is the number 1 total badass of the Sci Fi world. TV or Movies it doesn't matter, Star Trek, Star Wars, Aliens, Babylon 5 etc it doesn't matter. Big poll for this one vote for your top 5 hardest ass kickers and then the top 16 will go into a random knockout thread which then will be wittled down to 8,4,2 and then 1. When you vote think how tough they are what weapons they use etc and lets see you will be the top dog of the SCI FI world. Assuming these threads are popular enough might do spinoff polls along the way for gender only but this one will be multi gender...

Ellen Ripley is an extremely close runner-up.

And one of the first characters I thought of when I read the poll title but who isn't on that list is Quaid/Hauser from Total Recall.
