The Twilight Zone coming to CBSAA

I hope that it will not have any graphic violence and/or gore.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA! Who am I kidding? :wah:

Is this a revival series, or does this mean the entire original show will be available on CBSAA? Because I only like the original.

New revival series. I'm sure the original, previous two reboots and movie will end up on there too.

Probably similar to how Showtime did Outer Limits several years ago where there is some nudity and gore and stuff in it.

If there's a show I would like to see revived by CBS it would be Mission: Impossible. As fun as those Tom Cruise movies are, I'd really like to see a return of the ensemble dynamic. Make it one whole mission in a span of 13 episodes to really emphasize on what makes them "impossible". When a second season starts it's a whole new one, with some of the cast returning and new additions joining.

Doubt this makes financial sense given how well the movies are still doing in theaters. Though I guess audiences are now getting used to having a different version of something in cinemas and on the small screen.

I would love to see it. While I like the MI Movies they just are not the same due to the focus on one character vs the ensemble dynamic.

Agreed. Which would make me give the show a hard pass, much like that Outer Limits and Star Trek: Discovery. Ah well.

Half hour. Black and white. Make new episodes that would fit in with the old ones.

Pretty sure it won't be in black-and-white . .. because it's 2017. :)

Although 30 minutes is probably the right length.

If M:I is ever rebooted again, they had dam well better forget everything the Cruise movies did to Jim Phelps. :scream:

Don't get me started on the movie version of Jim Phelps. I got so angry when they did that because it was just for shock value and made no freaking logical sense at all.

There's one way out of it, though...

Characters wearing lifelike masks to conceal their identities are a central part of the first M:I movie's plot, aren't they? So perhaps it wasn't really Jim at all - just somebody who took his place. That's the easy way out. And it's in my head canon. :)
