This is my favorite Trek of all. I think it's the Trek where everything was really established, such as LCARs, the relationships between different species, Starfleet, saying "warp" instead of "warp factor", everything. It wasn't afraid to explore all sorts of different issues, such as racism, life after death, and it kind of caught that epic, majestic feel that I crave in movies but seldom find (like when the Enterprise came out of the atmosphere of Titan in Trek XI). To this day I haven't watched a single TNG episode or movie I didn't like. I don't know... TNG just felt like it was an actual adventure... actually the word that comes to mind is "odyssey". Sorry if I sound like I'm being a bit melodramatic (I know for a fact I do) about my opinion of TNG, but I just felt like saying my mind. I even kind of like the goofy-looking, too-big saucer section of the Enterprise D sometimes.
