Could go any number of ways. The Doctor's TARDIS has a much freer existence than most, I would imagine (On Gallifrey, they treat them as Beasts of Burden). I imagine the Doctor and his TARDIS have a much tighter bond (See Dragons and Their Riders in Fantasy stories), and she may indeed destroy herself if she knows the Doctor has died permanently. Generally, though, I would say, no a TARDIS isn't going to have that kind of loyalty to their Time Lord.

It would go to a TARDIS graveyard (as described and later "seen" in the Big Finish audio plays).

Would it stalk younger versions of the Doctor?

Or look for mirror universes where the Doctor Survived and his TARDIS was lost.

I imagine it would either die with the Doctor or just sit in some alley for the remainder of days or it might find a new companion and ride on.

I can almost imagine the BBC starting a children series where some snot nosed kids happen upon the long abandoned TARDIS and start having their own adventures.

Hopefully I am long gone by then and only have to turn in my grave if that happens.

Probably what the Ninth Doctor said would happen to it in PArting of the Ways. It'd just sit there until it eventually decayed or the universe did!

It would eventually run out of energy to sustain its interior relative dimension and revert back to being a real police box.

Yeah, if anything, it would revert to its original form...assuming that death turns off the chameleon circuit.

I've never bought the TARDIS is alive thing, so I'm just assuming it would sit around like any old piece of equipment until it is destroyed or someone else takes it. The Doctor originally stole the TARDIS, so it clearly doesn't require him to function.

There's nothing to "buy", it's been stated explicitly.

The idea of the TARDIS being alive is something that's been around since the third serial of the series: The Edge of Destruction.

When (and if) the Doctor finally dies, nothing would happen to the TARDIS.
The TARDIS Matrix made it pretty clear in The Doctor's Wife, that she doesn't experience time in a linear fashion.
From her point of view, he's already dead/still alive/not born yet.

I'm sure they'll find a way to give the Doctor more lives in some way or another. Didn't they basically do that with the Master?

The Tardis will of course use all of the energy of time and space it has absorbed in its travels as well as the power of several of the Doctors who have regenerated inside it to keep the Doctor alive infinitely, which of course renders the question moot.
