Are we to assume that the lawn of Kevin and Rishon's home always had that concealed trap? Did Kevin add the trap to the recreation and Rishon 2.0 doesn't care because - to her - it happens to be a normal fixture on their property? The fact that Riker perfectly stumbles across the mechanism and Geordi only detects it a second before it is sprung seems to indicate that it too was a mental construct of sorts.
