I loved the shield,it was a great show,dont think we will see a other show like this in the near future,i liked the ending,poor vic,he become something he hated -a suit and tie paper pusher.

The Shield is one of my favorite all-time shows as well. I remember the "Family Meeting" episode haunted me for days - my son was almost exactly the age of Shane's son at the time and I just couldn't get my head around the dark place he had been driven that he went to that solution. The shot where they discover the bodies and the little boy is lying still holding the toy police car still disturbs me when I think about it.

Powerful, powerful stuff.
