Following a fire at an Armenian safe house, Rezian asks Vic to set up a meeting with the Mexicans.

Meanwhile, an angry Cassidy goes to Danny with questions about her father, and Dutch questions a teenager that shot an intruder.
Sounds like the gang war is definitely heating up.

Another great episode. I was quite glad to see the writers break out of the "Billings is lazy, Dutch does something unorthodox, and Billings gets his act together in the clutch" mold. Instead, they worked together very nicely, even if they didn't close the case like Dutch wanted. That being said, I don't think we've seen the last of this kid because it felt fairly obvious they were setting up for bigger things. Plus, his mother was played by the absolutely wonderful Frances Fisher. More of her is always a good thing!

The scene with Cassidy and Danny was interesting and my respect for Danny increased with her insistence of not saying anything because it's not her place (nor did she "squeal" on Cassidy to Vic).

Dutch is back to trying to get in the head of serial killers though hopefully he won't be strangling any cats soon, besides he has to worry about tracking down those damned bikers soon. Vic is really spiraling right now and not near in control as past series, not looking too good.

I doubt they're going to show the serial killer kid again. For one thing, this is the last season. For another, I think the whole point of that plot was that you just have no way of knowing if the kid is really a killer until Victim #2 shows up, which may not happen for years and years. They were just giving us a glimpse into one of the frustrations that cops experience.

That episode really uped the ante. Just when I thought Vic might be getting in the clear we get another betrayal. Man, this is one hell of a show!

Also, is anyone else expecting someone to die every episode? I keep thinking that someone is going to go down every Tuesday night and I get very stressed out.

Another great episode but I missed the very end.....

What happened with Dutch and the kid? Did the kid confess or did Dutch let him go after he interrogated him while Billings was downstairs with the Mom?

And anything after that with Vic and meeting I missed, I don't think anything major happened but can someone just go over the last few minutes...thank you!

Overall, this is another great season! Such a great show!!!

Dutch and Billings decided there wasn't sufficient evidence to prove that the kid murdered the bully, nor would there be enough until there was a second body.

I honestly can't remember the ending already. :o

The blond Federal Agent is in Pezuela's pocket as he has a file on her and Vic has told her too many incriminating things.

Thanks sidious and EMH! I did miss the part with Pezuela and the blond agent.

I know Vic wants to take Pezuela down to keep his job, but isn't the whole thing with the Armenians being done just to protect his family? Now that Vic knows who the potential assassins are or would be, why does he need to keep this charade of Mexicans against Armenians? Once the rest of Rezians gang is killed then Vic would be able to move on...is that right?

A week and a day later, I finally had a chance to watch the episode.

The scene between Danny and Cassidy was great. I can't begin to imagine how uncomfortable Danny would be in that situation, but she handled it well.

The tension when Ronnie and Shane are both on-screen is so palpable that I can't believe Shane isn't getting tetchy with Ronnie yet. I'm thinking a final showdown between the two is likely to happen sooner rather than later.

Billings and Dutch worked great together in this episode. I hope it gives Billings a taste of the detective he could be and makes him want to continue down that road, instead of continuing to leech off the police department.

Looks like Vic may have to take down another cop...

Ah, yes, now I remember. Another classic case of Vic shitting in his pants.
You don't get too see this often, he's usually so quick on his toes. I like how occasionally they switch things around, even on a master operator like Vic who seemingly can get out of anything.
