Ah safest.. umm.. no idea but fastest would be sulfuric acid I think..

Indeed, sulfuric acid will do that as well! But when you're dead you can't clean your grill, and why did you take that answer serious?
I guess I need more.

Another interesting way.. hmm.. shove it underneath a rocket, think the exhaust blast would do a mighty nice job, do strap it down well else it might end up on Mars
