The Road to Coronation Street

I may have already said this before, but I agree, if ever there was another show, deserving of its own "The Road To..." show, then its Doctor Who.

They're unique in their origins though, and the Corrie one lent itself better to that kind of drama - one man's idea struggling to get made and ultimately being massively successful (if complete shite, but never mind). That said, I imagine a drama series about Doctor Who's backstage history throughout its 50 years could be great. So much in the way of internal politics that shaped the show.

^^I was just about to mention that.

Though instead of a drama about Doctor Who's origins, I agree with the above suggestion of a drama about the behind the scenes affairs of the show. Hell, the 1980s, or more specifically Colin Baker's era could probably provide enough story fodder right there.
