Can't believe it's been ten years. I remember journeying through the Voyager forum, liking the banter between posters and deciding to participate. My first post (and thread) was a "vote for the worst ep of Voyager" topic. Trust me to make a negative entrance.
(For those that check my profile, the infamous server crash of 2004 has put my join date as 2000, but I didn't actually join until 2001.)
Beginning life as Year of Hell, I briefly changed it to Nightingale. Following the death of my cat I changed it again to Sausage before finally settling on Candlelight.
It's funny how time works. Ten years ago I had just moved to a new city, was seeing someone but not married, renting, had no kids, was trying to find my feet in a job that was really only temporary.
Now I'm married, have three kids, a (hopefully!) solid job with a great company, a mortgage.
The world has changed so much since then. The Internet was still growing, Star Trek was still a few years from finishing up on television, there was no Firefly, no Battlestar Galactica remake, no Farscape, no Blu-Rays, high def was largely in it's infancy, the twin towers were still standing.
Then again, ten years before that I was in my final year of primary (elementary) school!
But enough about me. What about you? What do you think of me?
(JOKING!)
