The other "815" survivors?

So were any of the other mid section and aft section survivors anywhere near as important as Jack and the gang or were they merly just there as collateral, I was expecting to see them in the church in the sideways verse or at least see what there POV would be from discovering where they were?

Were there lives just the same as Anna Lucia's as they weren't ready to cross over?

Libby was there, in the church, and she was an original tailie

Ana-Lucia and Bernard (both tailies) were in the flashsideways. Bernard remained on the island with Rose, no doubt living their lives in peace under Hurley's time

Libby and Bernard were there. I know AAA (Eko) had a falling out with the cast & crew. The only others from that set were Ana-Lucia and Cindy.

The church scene wasn't all the people who were ready to cross over, just the ones who were ready and who meant something to Jack. Presumably Scott and Steve have already danced into the great unknown...

I think we can assume that a lot of them either a) were not ready to move on or b) had already moved on. The Island didn't have a profound impact on some of the random 815 survivors, so when they died, it's very possible they just passed over without getting trapped in Flashsideways Limbo.

Exactly what I'm thinking.

Also, I don't see the distinction between the people in FS/limbo and the "trapped souls" on the island, like Michael. Am I to understand that Michael and Eko will never be able to move on to the afterlife?

Was Eko a soul trapped on the Island like Michael? I never got the impression that he was.

Also, Ghost Eko apparently was playing Chess with Hurley off Island when Hurley was back in the mental hospital.
