Spoilers The one mystery the series left unanswered

What was the deal with the wormhole/transwarp conduit that opened up at the end of season 2, and almost took out multiple star systems?

I'm curious whether that was originally setup to connect to something in season 3. It's setup as portending something dangerous coming through it. Or was it just a means to an end to close off the Jurati storyline, and we're not meant to think about it too hard beyond that.

It was a set up for nothing but the writers for season 3 did consider using it by having the giant Borg cube come out of it.
Ultimately they went with the Jupiter idea.

What about those tentacle creatures (the ones the Internet jokingly call the Reapers) from the end of season one? They were lthe only interesting thing about that season.

The ones not related to the tentacle creatures on Discovery? No idea.

Picard season 3 hated seasons one and two with a passion. Even if it was a set up, Matalas was like, "fuck you and everything you did. Look, here's Q again LOL!"

There are so many parallels between The Last Jedi vs Rise Of Skywalker, and PIC S1/2 vs PIC S3…. With the notable exception that PIC S3 was generally received very well..!

this is the first time I see a positive comment on this disaster of a concept :D

Matalas already said at the end of season 2 that wasn't going to be followed up on Picard but rather "somewhere else in the franchise."

The one mystery?

The Borg are pretty much in trouble.

The BEST THING they could do with the Shrike is pick up Jack?

How about getting some groceries?

If you can build / get the Shrike why not use it to fix up or rebuild your cube?

Hey I know I have a fleet of ships that is nearby. Let me keep them far away from the only ship not under my control and which is threatening me?
