Okay I had a idea. What if we had a thread dedicated to learning stuff. The idea is every day or couple of days you take it upon yourself to learn something new and post this knowledge to the rest of the board. That way even more people might learn it. Granted you will sometimes learn something another person might know but not all the time. My suggestion is to try and learn something kind of obscure. What you want ot learn can be anything. Anything from Sci-fi,movies,politics,animals or even stuff about yourself or family or friends. Anything goes. Me I will start out kind of easy since I think I will be going to bed in about 20 minutes.
1 Milton Snavely Hershey, them an behind the chocolate bar was suppose to be on the ship. He booked passege but got delayed because of business so instead traveled on the ship,The Amerika instead and arrived early. He might also be know for being the boss guy in the movie "A League of their Own" who hires Tom Hanks and then the one guy has to try and convince him to keep the league going once the men start returning from war.
2 Did you know the kid from the 80's cereal "Mikey will eat anything" adds is named John Gilchrist and works for the MSG network where he is director of media sales were he deals with adds over tv. Suffice it to say he did not die by eating pop rocks and exploding.
