The Office:Stress Relief (Special Superbowl Episode)

Deleted scenes!

i'm in tears at Micheal sneaking up to Stanley as he's sleeping with the defibrillator

Debifrillator. It's in the Oxford English Dictionary. ;)

'The Office' is one of the rare shows where the deleted scenes are more often than not every bit as good as what makes it on the air.

I love Stanley's NOT DEAD sign. Stanley is the reincarnated Trip Tucker.

Special mention to the Jim & Pam plot, I keep getting worried every time they make me think they're going to break up, and then they cleverly end up even closer. Man do I love those two characters together! The writers have done a great job making their post-engagement relationship as fun to watch as the old days with pining Jim.

Pam needs to back off a bit, though. She's kind of a handful, pressuring Jim into talking with her father then seemingly putting their own future on the line when things don't turn out the way she wanted it to. Why did she assume (correctly - but she didn't know that) at first that her father made the decision he did because of his conversation with Jim other than the timing of it? There were already problems, so it could have just been a natural progression from there.

I know the writers have made an effort to make her more assertive, and I like that, but they've kind of overcompensated by making her overbearing on occasion and holding things over Jim's head (yes, I know that's realistic for a couple, but still). She should have never forced him to get involved in her parent's marital problems and it's not fair to blame him when things don't work out like she wanted in a conversation with someone who is almost a complete stranger to Jim.

Everyone running around with their heads cut off was hilarious.

Kevin running down the camera guy to looting the vending machine.

Michael: Everybody just stay calm. EVERYBODY JUST STAY ****ING CALM! JUST ****ING CALM DOWN!. :guffaw:

Oscar trapped in the ceiling to falling down and the cat falling too:guffaw:

The episode did another great job of leapfrogging between making Michael an asshole and a pathetic figure to be pitied.

That's Michael, exactly.

I missed the first 20 minutes of this since I was driving home from a Super Bowl party (Yay Steelers! :) ) but I watched it on Hulu tonight. HILARIOUS. This is what the show used to be, funny. Lately, it's been lame.

But this episode was definitely up to par. I was laughing so hard when Michael threw the overhead projector out the window. HA HA HA.

there's no way in hell that Dwight wouldn't have been fired (then again, Michael still works there), but it was well worth it.
It's already been established that David Wallace is willing to put up with just about anything from Michael right now because Scranton is performing much better than any other branch. Since Dwight is Michaels top salesman, he's probably got immunity too.
